My earliest childhood memories are from the 2 years, my family spent as missionaries in Nigeria, West Africa. I cannot remember a time when I did not know that God is love, and that our job is to tell about and share that love with everyone.
God blessed me with a great family. I have three brothers who taught me to love sports and to stay humble. I grew up in a church where I was loved and encouraged. I followed my older brothers to Baylor, where I met my husband, David. I then had the opportunity to go to grad school at Duke in North Carolina. I lived on my own for the first time, and learned to stand strong in my faith among a very diverse student body. David and I were married in 1987 and have two daughters, Caroline and Amanda. We moved to Texarkana 12 years ago, and God has blessed our family here with opportunities to grow and serve.
Most recently I have been called to serve God by working in the Student Ministry office. I am so glad to be a part of a team that exhibits such love for God and for each other. Come see us, we have fun on a daily basis!
